Description
The MainGuard #7600 Blow-Off Hydrant installs underground in a meter box and is designed and engineered specifically for flushing large amounts of water quickly. The unit provides excellent flow rates comparable to a standard fire hydrant. The MainGuard #7600 Blow-Off Hydrant accommodates a high flow volume for bio-film scouring applications and its unique valve design allows for flushing of large debris. The unit provides ample flushing velocities usually at half the cost of a fire hydrant. The MainGuard #7600 is fully serviceable from above ground.
The MainGuard #7600 comes standard with:
- All brass principle working parts
- 4” inlet and outlet
- Self-draining
- Non-freezing
- Certified to NSF/ANSI 372.
The “Sidekick” automatic flushing station section is designed and engineered specifically to provide a manual hydrant with a source to allow easy scalability for a full-scale automatic flushing station in order to improve and maintain water quality on a consistent basis. The Blow-Off portion provides excellent flushing flow rates up to 1346 gpm @ 75 psi.
