The Eclipse #2 Post Hydrant has been one of the best selling flushing hydrants for water main dead ends for over 100 years! Designed for performance and durability, the Eclipse #2 provides excellent flow rates for improving chlorine residual levels and flushing disinfection byproducts (DBPs) to keep water safe for consumers. The Eclipse #2 is fully serviceable from above ground.
The Eclipse #2 comes standard with:
- All brass principle working parts
- Nozzle sizes up to 2½” NST
- Self draining
- Non-freezing
- 3’ bury or less
- 2-3/16” valve opening
- 1½” pentagon operating nut
- Various inlets available.
- Certified to NSF/ANSI 372.
The “Sidekick” automatic flushing station section is designed and engineered specifically to provide a manual hydrant with a source to allow easy scalability for a full-scale automatic flushing station in order to improve and maintain water quality on a consistent basis. The Blow-Off portion provides excellent flushing flow rates up to 1346 gpm @ 75 psi.
